Job Title:- Sourcing Specialist – Buying/Procurement Location:- Suzhou, Jiangsu province, China Role Summary: - Sourcing Specialist - Buying / Procurement will manage the buying process for a given set of goods. Apply sourcing policy, interface between supplier and entity with respect to specifications and budgets. Positions requiring understanding of a concepts, methods and procedures to enable sourcing execution. Essential Responsibilities: - In the role of Sourcing Specialist - Buying / Procurement person will be responsible for: ? Price inquiries, offer analysis and comparison of terms ? Provide costing for POR to PO conversion ? Assess supplier capabilities and make recommendations on supplier acceptability ? Manage & monitor Project productivity ? Presents to internal teams on metrics, project status and research ? Work on achieving deflation targets ? Issue long term agreements based on the defined commodity strategy. ? Work on the set KPIs to achieve them throughout the year ? Balance both tactical execution with strategic initiatives necessary to drive cost reduction projects ? Actively participate in supplier performance reviews Qualifications Requirements: ? Bachelor's degree from an accredited university or college (or a high school diploma / GED) ? Minimum 4-5 years of experience in Sourcing, Buying, and/or Procurement ? Purchasing Systems experience. ? Strong oral and written communication skills. Other Requirements: - ?
