Support of the Purchase Department by means of schedule-related sourcing and material implementation of orders, considering customer satisfaction, cost minimization and quality. 1. Develop, execute, and follow up sourcing strategies for localization and cost reduction. 2. Achieve objectives of cost reduction, quality, delivery, and safety. 3. Monitoring and driving supplier improvement on quality system and OTD. 4. Responsible for supplier contract negotiation, renew & update suppliers’ agreement. 5. Search & develop to maintain a qualified and potential supply base in China for assigned categories. 6. Follow up/execute engineering/design changes and NPD project. 7. Responsible for executing the entire sourcing process from supplier assessment, quote analysis, negotiation, supplier selection and approval, sample order, parts approval, and serial production order. 8. Execution of other tasks related to purchasing support which has assigned by direct manager. 9. The holder of the position is responsible for compliance with the quality, occupational-safety and environmental-protection requirements which are necessary for the workplace. 10. Handle the import & export related business with the suppliers. Qualification Requirement 1. Bachelor’s degree in mechanical or other equivalent major with very strong mechanical background. 2. At least 5 years work experience in the field of purchasing. 3. Purchasing experience in buying machining, molding and MRO service. 4. Experience and competence to check the technical concepts of suppliers 5. Well-grounded purchasing background and IT knowledge 6. Confident knowledge of local Tianjin purchasing market terms 7. Good command of English in both writing and speaking to correspond with German departments about the projects and the requirements 8. Thinks and acts in the spirit of a family business 9. Organizational talent, self-motivated and good team player 10. Flexible and able to work under pressure 11. Communications skills, confident manner 12. Good problem-solving skills
