Responsibilities: · Support the recording of financial transactions and maintaining accurate ledgers by timely submission of relevant documents to the appointed accounting service provider. · Preparation of sales invoices per delivery contract including VAT calculation. Issuance of tax invoice and monthly statement of accounts to customers. · Ensure timely collection from the customers. Follow up with customer’s focal points for any purchase requisition / purchase order and goods receipt issues. · Perform monthly bank reconciliation and weekly cash flow. · Interact with local banks to facilitate smooth transactions. · Review vendor invoices and ensure timely and accurate local payments. · Ensure timely outward overseas remittance to head office. · Participate in payroll processes and ensure timely payment of salaries, benefits, and reimbursements. · Review the periodic financial reports, such as balance sheet, profit and loss statement and cash flow statement. Ensure compliance with China accounting standards. · Monitor and analyze financial performance by performing monthly trend analysis. · Identify and clear the outstanding issues in the accounting records. · Support the preparation and filing of tax returns and payments in accordance with Chinese tax laws. · Assist in the preparation of annual budget and monthly forecast. · Assist with internal and external audits. · Ensure intercompany transactions flows within the scope, facilitating smooth financial transactions between China and the foreign parent company. · Analyze current processes to identify areas for improvement. · Keep and maintain the accounting records for specific period based on regulatory requirements. · Ensure compliance with state and federal regulatory requirements and professional standards. · Liaise with Regional Head of Finance to address financial inquiries and ensure alignment with organizational goals. Skills: · Effective communication skills to interact with different stakeholders. · Analytical skills to interpret complex financial data and provide recommendations. · Ability to identify and rectify discrepancies in financial data and processes. Qualifications: · Professional-level English proficiency · A degree in accounting, finance, or a related field. · 3 to 5-year experience in accounting, tax compliance and financial reporting in China. · Strong understanding in China Accounting Standards and International Financial Reporting Standards (IFRS) · Chinese CPA or an international equivalent is preferred.
