General Statement of Responsibilities: ?Located in DongYing, China, the Product Engineering will directly report to the Product Director, and with a dotted line reporting to the Plant Manager, future to Engineering Manager. ?The Product Engineering is responsible for Friction engineering, product specification and PPAP (Production product approval Process). ?Major tasks include friction pads assembly and components drawings approval, NPI as new product introduction, draw out product Specification, and witness product test. Requirements: ?Development and definition of product engineering strategies for plant ?Diligently adhere to company integrity policies and engineering process and procedures ?Management plant engineering friction pads assembly and components drawings and approval, release to plant and suppliers, and ECN (Engineering changes notification) process, and management process technical with components engineering status ?Management of friction pads NPI (New product Introduction) ?Definition of PPAP and monitor process ?Definition friction pads and components product specification and IQC (incoming quality control) test requirement, ?Management with engineering test Lab ?Management with supplier engineering of friction components, and collaboration with plant QC/SQE ?Maintain with product master BOM (Bill of Materials) worksheet ?Friction packaging specification management Additional Requirements: ?Ability to work autonomously while ensuring that all stakeholders are kept informed in a timely manner and adhering to company policy and procedure. ?Use position authority to initiate action to prevent the occurrence of non-conformities relating to the product, process and quality system and to stop further work on suspect product until the deficiency or conditions have been corrected. ?Capable of providing any other additional support as requested by supervisor. ?Open-minded and Advanced interpersonal and communication skills.
