BASIC FUNCTION基礎職能
Responsible for planning, directing, controlling and co-coordinating the activities of all Housekeeping personnel; for the operation of all Housekeeping functions in guestrooms, function rooms, public areas, hotel offices, back of the house areas and their surroundings.

DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES工作職責
1. Directs, supervises and co-ordinates the functions of all Housekeeping personnel engaged in activities such as:

(a) Cleaning and maintaining hotel premises
清潔保養酒店的營業場所
(b)Storing and issuing hotel linen and uniforms保管、發放酒店的布草和制服
1. Ensures that all guest rooms, function rooms, public areas, hotel offices, back of the house areas, and their surroundings conform with the Hotel standards of cleanliness and orderliness.
確保所有的客房,會議室,公共區域,酒店辦公室,酒店后臺及其周圍環境符合酒店所制定的標準
2. Inspects hotel rooms and premises regularly; ensures that furnishings, facilities and equipment are cleaned, repaired, maintained and replaces ad necessary and informs management of requirements ensures that deficiencies are corrected.
定時視察酒店客房及營業場所,確保家具,設施設備的清潔,保養和在必要時的更換,并向管理部門匯報所需物品以確保缺省物品的及時補充
3. Determines need for general cleaning, repairs and rehabilitation; schedules such work activities in co-ordination with Engineering and Front Office.
決定大清潔,維修和整修的需要;與工程部和前臺協調安排這些工作
4. Trains personnel according to established procedures, conducts training meetings to discuss problems, future plans, gives instructions and assignments etc.

5. Briefs Housekeeping supervisors on the functions, VIP arrivals and other events which will necessitate additional or special preparations.

6. Controls and ensures the adequacy of inventory of all necessary Housekeeping materials and supplies, ordering replacement when needed.

7. Prepares reports on periodic inventories of linen and uniforms; submits same to superior.

8. Co-ordinates with Front Office regarding room transfers, guest charges and other problems or requirements regarding guest accommodations and billings.

9. Maintains a close payroll control.

10. Ensures the availability of linen and uniforms as required in close co-ordination with Laundry Department.

1. Ensures the proper scheduling of personnel in order to meet all cleaning and service requirements daily; to meet peak and slack periods, and remain within Union and labor law requirements.

2. Prepares maintenance order, work orders, requisitions, reports on guest complaints and other inter-office memoranda.
準備維修程序、工作指示、所需物品,所要回報的顧客投訴和其他酒店內部辦公室的備忘錄
3. Performs other duties as required by his supervisor

JOB SPECIFICAITON職位要求
1. College graduate
大學畢業
2. Minimum 6 years’ experience, at least 3 years in managerial capacity in a hotel of international standard
最少6年的工作經驗,在國際性酒店至少有3年的管理經歷
3. At least 30 years’ of age,
30歲以上,
4. Aggressive and ability to handle people is a must

5. Good moral character and honest
