The IB Department of High School Affiliated to Nanjing Normal University is looking for a full time Economics teacher for the coming semester starting from September 2025. Job Description: l Complying with our school calendar (2 semesters for one academic year), with summer break and winter break l Teaching DP local (non-English native speakers) /or Pre-IB (Grade 10) students, with the workload of 20 periods (40 mins each) at most per week l Collaborating with other IBDP teachers in terms of EE, TOK, CAS, etc. l Attending faculty meeting and parents meeting when necessary The ideal candidate shall: l Hold a bachelor’s degree (or above) in Economics or majors related (experience in publishing papers preferred) l Evidence of successful teaching experience in high school l Evidence of commitment to community engagement and social justice l Be a good team worker and communicator l Be able to manage class effectively and get students involved Located in Nanjing, China, the school is a leading institution in Jiangsu Province.
