? Responsible to carry out the duties as Food Safety Director per local China enterprise regulations
? Provide the overall site QA/QC leadership support and work in partnership with APAC/ Global Quality Systems & Governance.
? Lead the quality aspects of Journey to EHSQ Excellence activities with relevant element owners
? Oversee the management of Quality and Food Safety programs, ensuring compliance with national and international standards and legislation and ensure that all new regulations are quickly and accurately implemented in the plant.
? Accountable for the maintenance of Quality document libraries/site Quality Management manual.
? Accountable for the performance of all quality KPIs and drive for improvements.
? Accountable for internal manufacturing specifications, standards, protocols and quality procedures
? Accountable for the development and execution of training programs that support the Company’s objectives regarding quality and food safety.
? Accountable for the timely investigation and associated corrective actions of all plant related customer quality complaints and process deviations.
? Accountable for the plant's lab group fiscal year spending.
? Accountable for the review of all plant project requests for capital expenditure to ensure that the project will adhere to all quality and food safety standards.
? Accountable for all customers, certifying body audits and quality internal audits, and implementing corrective actions, as needed, to ensure compliance to all necessary requirements.
? Accountable to maintain GFSI certifications.
? Accountable for the maintenance of plant & lab analytical equipment and ensure compliance with test methods.
? Provide support and advice as need to Customer Advocacy, Sales, Product Management and Supply Chain concerning customer needs

Qualifications & Other requirements:
? Ability to effectively present information to top management, public groups, and/or customers.
? Ability to define problems, collect data, establish facts, and draw valid conclusions.
? Ability to interpret technical instructions in mathematical or diagram form and deal with several abstract and concrete
variables.
? Bachelor of Science (BS) degree in Food Science, Microbiology, Food Engineering, Chemistry or comparable required.
? 7+ years of related Quality Assurance Management experience (in a food or chemical manufacturing plant is preferred.).
? 5+ years’ experience as a people manager.
? Formal HACCP, PCQI, Quality System training is strongly preferred.
? A working knowledge of computers and business software such as Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Outlook, and SAP is preferred
