Main Tasks / Main Responsibilities #1:
Management of product data, process responsibility, quality control
? Responsible for the quality of the product data as part of the development, modification and phase-out process
? Responsible for compliance and execution according to product data RACIs.
? Maintenance of defined product data in SAP
? Quality control of all product-related data in SAP and ProFile.
Main Tasks / Main Responsibilities #2:
Machine configuration, kit system, maintenance in the configurator and SAP
? Mapping of configurations and models and in the configurator.
? Development of sales concepts and models for new products together with the respective product owner.
? Creation or coordination of the configuration profile as well as all required product data in SAP according to RACIs (see main task #1).
? Mapping of sales concepts and models as a configuration in the modeling tool or in the online configurator.
? Regular review, maintenance and further development of the configuration options
Main Tasks / Main Responsibilities # 3:
Product pricing and maintenance (price adjustment; increases, corrections)
? Definition and maintenance of a pricing scheme or set of rules for pricing.
? Pricing and profitability testing for new products, options and auxiliary devices.
? Regular review of prices throughout the life cycle.
? Price adjustments (increase, correction) according to the economic situation, purchasing market and competitive consideration.
Main Tasks / Main Responsibilities # 4:
Collecting, processing and making available product performance data internally
? Provide product performance data for marketing, technical documentation, and sales.
? Responsible for the correctness of the product performance data provided, which is further processed by the above-mentioned departments.
Main Tasks / Main Responsibilities #5:
Management of Product & Feature Phase-Out
? Initiation of the phase-out process and ensuring all required steps with the appropriate authorities.
? Definition of the end of life of a product and coordination of the active elimination from the portfolio as well as the deactivation of kit and option numbers.
? Ensuring final withdrawal from the sales offer, taking into account the availability of spare parts.
? After the end of spare parts availability – coordination with the relevant departments for the final deactivation of the individual parts (in SAP) or elimination of physical inventories.
5 years of experience in the field, including the following:
? Experience in product data management incl. parts list/BOM
? Experience in managing and structuring the configuration logic of a product, understanding of the business concepts and requirements of our customers
? Advanced technical understanding of products, components and functionality
? Experience in dealing with SAP
? Training/studies in the areas of product or project management,
business or economics
? Experience in the after-sales sector
? Innovative and forward-thinking
? Working with people in cross-functional teams
? Strong verbal, non-verbal and written communication skills
? fluent English
