Objectives & Keys Tasks
Analyze and consolidate market needs for the relevant customer groups, markets, coordinating with global teams for global product roadmap
Market trend and competition analysis for new product definition
Creation of new product requirements for new products together with R&D, quality, technical support, service and sales departments
Prepare overall business case (volume / value at stakes), ensure accretive standard margin with strong cost supervision and monitor P&L
Product development: lead through NPD process together wit project manager to make sure of on time product launch
Corresponding product training of sales and key dealers (at different locations)
Documentation of operating instructions and technical documents
Handling of small projects and special productions
Master data management in SAP / relevant ERP
Lifecycle management and maintenance of existing product range
Education & Qualifications
Education
Degree in engineering (or marketing related)
Bachelor or better Master degree
Skills & Expertise required
Professional experience in the field of product marketing of at least 3 to 5 years
Strategic thinking, cost/benefit orientation
Strong communication and networking, passion for work
Finance acumen and entrepreneurship
Technical understanding or previous technical training are preferred
Fluent in English
