Job Summary
The Country HR Supervisor will support the China HR Manager in executing HR strategies and initiatives aligned with business objectives across China. This role involves overseeing daily HR operations, ensuring compliance with local labor laws, fostering employee engagement, and driving HR programs that enhance organizational effectiveness.
Key Responsibilities

HR Operations Management

Oversee day-to-day HR activities, including payroll coordination, benefits administration, and HR record maintenance.

Ensure compliance with Chinese labor laws, regulations, and company policies.

Talent Acquisition & On boarding

Partner with hiring managers to identify staffing needs and manage end-to-end recruitment processes.

Develop employer branding initiatives to attract top talent.

Facilitate smooth on boarding for new hires.

Employee Relations

Act as a trusted advisor to employees and managers on HR-related issues.

Address grievances, mediate conflicts, and promote a positive workplace culture.

Performance Management
-
Support the implementation of performance review processes and provide guidance on goal-setting and feedback.

Analyze performance data to identify training/development needs.

Training & Development
-
Coordinate training programs to enhance employee skills and leadership capabilities.

Collaborate with the HR Manager on succession planning and career pathing.

Compensation & Benefits

Assist in salary benchmarking, bonus calculations, and benefits program updates.

Ensure accurate and timely payroll processing with finance teams.

HR Compliance & Reporting

Maintain up-to-date knowledge of local labor laws and social insurance policies.

Prepare HR reports (e.g., headcount, turnover, diversity metrics) for management review.

HR Projects

Lead or participate in cross-functional HR projects (e.g., system implementations, policy updates).
Qualifications
Education:

Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or related field.

Master’s degree or HR certification (e.g., CIPD, SHRM) is a plus.
Experience:

5–7 years of progressive HR experience, with at least 3 years in a supervisory role.

In-depth knowledge of Chinese labor laws and HR best practices.

Experience in multinational organizations or matrix structures preferred.
Skills:

Strong communication, interpersonal, and problem-solving skills.

Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.

Proficiency in HRIS (e.g., SAP, Workday) and MS Office.

Fluency in English and Mandarin (written and spoken).
